Howdy, I work and have worked in a music shop for years and although I still love music I find it increasingly hard to choose things to put on my Ipod. I like everything from Pink Floyd, to The Who To Foo Fighters to Yeah Yeah Yeahs to Son Of Dave etc... A wide variety but always end up with the same stuff on my Ipod, I generally prefer to put on single tracks than full albums. So guys - Wjhat shall it be???

fine young cannibals

peace train - cat stevens AKA yusuf islam
barely breathing - duncan shiek

good - better than ezra
lightning crashes - live

selling the drama - live (i'd put loads of live on)

will think of more good "old" songs cause the newer stuff is obviously fresher in your mind so easier to remember which you'd want

Greenday Jesus of Suburbia
Bowie Life on Mars
Alice in Chains Would
Marilyn Manson Sweet Dreams
Springsteen Born to Run
Love Alone Again Or
Dire Straits Sultans of Swing
Queen Under Pressure
Audioslave Cochise
Foo Fighters Monkey Wrench
Metallica One
REM Fall on me

this is just for starters!
Curved Air. If you haven't heard it you're in for a treat. It's very old, but you can get it on CD. Singer , Sonja Kristina has such a haunting voice. Loads of synth and Stewart Copeland (later of Police fame) on drums.
Have to agree - Curved Air were excellent
