The single cry for you by september seems to be sampling an eighties synth backing track.
Someone like erasure or yazoo.Seem to think it's something boy for some reason.
Any ideas?It's driving me mad.

My fiance says its Erasure,and the track is called something like Cry Boy Cry.

You mean Bronski Beat - "Small Town Boy". Can't believe no one has answered this yet.. I started listening to 80's music in high school back during my sophomore year in 2006. I have heard everything from that decade, haha.
