since both of them have done a version of this song i was wondering why jojo has done a cover, does she know him? do they have some sort of connection?

dunno - but i'd just like to put it on record that I heard that song and immedialtely started singing Stand By Me as that's the music used. I like the new song, but seems there's little originality these days?
