Does anyone have any ideas on songs that I can put on a cd to let a special someone know I still care.

A previous suggestion I've had are You Do Something To Me by Paul Wellar which is an artist he particularly likes.

The recepient likes most kinds of music but i'm looking for some up to date ideas from rockyish bands nothing to hard nothing to soft and definatly no CHEESE.

The CD is intended for my recent ex, it's his birthday soon .

If I were your ex and we were geting back together type of thing you SHOULD put Ive been loving you too long Otis Reding, (best of) or how abut Nick Cave's 'Love letter' (you can find Love letter on Nocturama) both make me melt and will listen to them over and over..

PS steer clear of cliches, everyone does the 'you do something to me' thing and it is soooo boring, try going into Virgin or HMV and pick up some obscure albums, demand to listen to them and find a song that speaks to you.....
