In the music video - The band is playing in front of a firing squad - the music is farely heavy - I would like to know the name of the band and the song.

I may be wrong, but 'Killed by Death' by Motorhead rings a bell. (They released that in about 1986 though...)

If it's fairly recent then it'll be Kasabian and Empire. Tom, the lead singer, gets shot and killed at the end of the video.
