Ok this is a tough one.Late 1970s a female white very tall possibly blonde pthought of as a fella in drag disco singer whose song sounded like.......'hes a star maker ,heatbreaker.......etc. I know its difficult..but hey i know you love a challenge !!!!

Sorry to appear smug but it's not hard at all....It's by Sheila B. Devotion (Alias of french singer Anny Chancel) and it's called "Spacer" it got to number 18 in November '79....note that on some labels this is credited to Shelia and B.Devotion as the 3 male backing singers used this also as a group name.
