The prog/metal band "Tool" released their fourth album in 2001 titled "Lateralus", could any one shed some light on this word, its meaning, history etc? Incedently the title track of the album is spelt "Lateralis" in the track listing. I love this band, probably due to the fact that most of their music is an enigma to me and their personal lifes are kept out of the mainstream light. It would be nice to know a little more on the words they use though.
