Is this a remix of an old eighties record? The lyrics/melody sound VERY familiar but I can't find any mention of its pedigree. If it's not, what song does it sound like?

Just answering my own question...The Finest by The SOS Band. Thank goodness for that!

The version I heard at the weekend was a remix and the music was taken from "The things that dreams are made of" by the Human League, taken from thier Dare album. Great track.

True Reize - but the radio version has exactly the same lyrics and melody as the SOS original. No credit to them anywhere on the internet though! Check out http://entertainment.msn.com/artist/?artist=128930
