i have three :
Last Christmas - Wham
Fairytale of new york - The pogues & Kirsty Mccall
Rockin' Round the xmas tree - don't know who its by though

love those!
Ditto Xmas Wrapping

great song, stonking bassline.

So sad to hear that the singer died from cancer a few years back.

.....well that ruined the festive mood didn't it!!
White Christmas from Bing could be a little obvious but I remember Little Donkey as my Mum, Dad and younger Brother sat round eating our Christmas dinner in 1959. Not ashamed for the age of all this.
'Stop the Cavalry' by Jona Lewie is always a welcome break from the Wham/Pogues/Slade/Wizzard bombardment. Frankie's 'Power of Love' takes me back to the day, as does St Etienne's 'I was born on Christmas Day'.

Christmas Wrapping is a good one, and not heard often enough!
Last Christmas - Wham my favourite.

Also love Driving Home for Christmas - Chris Rea.
Another vote here for The Waitresses ' Christmas Wrapping '. Very clever lyrics. Great chorus. Good memories.
Can't remember who sings it but I really like I Want an Alien For Christmas This Year. Also, the Darkness' Christmas Time (Don't Let the Bells End).
i also have to say 'Stop the Cavalry' by Jona Lewie
brilliant
Pogues, Wham, then the Waitresses in that order for me.
Pogues, Slade,Wizzard :o)
I know it's not technically a Christmas song, but Jingle Bells by Fats Waller always makes me cheerful. And Eartha Kitt's Santa Baby must be the sexiest Christmas song around!

And, for the kids, I don't think you can beat Where did my snowman go? by Petula Clark, backed by a chorus of Barnardo's kids back in the 1950s (again, not technically Christmas, but always goes down well at this time of year).
another rock and roll christmas gary glitter
silver bells jim reeves
and you cant beat porky pig singing blue xmas
21St Century Christmas by Cliff Richard
