school small instrumental group
every year my school has a House music competition and next year i'm probably going to have to organise a small instrumental group. we have to choose our own peice and i have no ideas! we have guitars, bass, drums, piano, flute, clarinet, violins and cellos- weird mix but thats the instrumental players avaliable. obviously dont need to include them all. does anyone have any ideas what piece? ideally something that's not classical and something that school kids would know so that they are bit more enthusiastic! thanks!

Obviously from you have already said you must be musical competent so why not make your arrangement something like Phantom of the Opera is a good one for a small school band - I once played it. The piano score is easily available and if you have access and know how to use Sibelius or other score writing programs you can easily arrange it
