Is there such a machine on the market that will automatically identify a key from vocal singing

I know of no such machine, but there is a very simple way of doing this: Buy a tuning device (not a tuning fork) from a reputable music shop: It is a circular device with each note of the scale marked. By sliding the outer ring round till it matches the tonic of the song you are hearing, it will immediately give the key. It uses a reed inside each of the keys. This may sound a bit messy, but I find it difficult to explain although I have used one for a number of years. Hope this helps
If you have basic keyboard and/or guitar skills then if you just repeat the first couple of bars of a song and play one note you should ba able to work out the key of the song from that....This is what i do when I am working out new songs....Boss manufactured a pedal called a centre canceller which eliminated the centre track from a song (usually the vocals and guitar) to allow playback with original songs.....this might do what your looking for.
