please help identify this song

HI, It was a song floating about in the late 1990's possibly early 2000's. Im pretty sure it was a re-make of an older song. The main words were, "Woman.... no matter what i say or do, I'm so in love with you" when he sang "woman" it was more like whooman, really exagerated and high pitched almost shreeked.
