didnt know where to post this but, what do you think of radio one dj's? too much talk not enough music for me,

I love Chris Moyles so I like his chat, also a big fan of Trevor Nelson but there is not too much talking in his set.

this point has been made before several times, so back in the day, the BBC ran an experiment where the DJs cut the chat to an absolute minimum.

The result was so unpopular that it was never tried again.

Oh blimey, Radio 1, not listened to that since probably about 1990. I'm a Radio 2 kinda gal now, and I'm ashamed to say I sometimes sneak over to <gasp> Radio 4, but I'm hoping the therapy will help with that one.

I think Moyles is a lot like Marmite- you either love or hate him. Personally, I'm a big fan, although I don't like a lot of music they play on Radio 1 so tend to listen to Kerrang or my own music.

i cant stand jo whiley, she's like that annoying friend you have that just has to go on and on and on about being out the night before. she does my head in so much, then she "introduces" new bands like shes fantastic, she also seems to think everyone forgets past music/bands, and so for example Badly Drawn Boy this week, she "reminded" the listeners what music he'd had before. i was infuriated, she also has awful taste, and plays music that sounds the same. but shes there for the masses i suppose, so ill just try and blank her. i love colin murry / murrey? and the scottish blade and also sara cox, she just says what evers in her head i find, ahhh and she takes over when jo whiley has a holiday

Radio 2 listener here too ..last time i heard radio 1 was when simon mayo used to do the morning show ........
