What is this band like? I've bought tickets to see these with Bruce Springsteen, are they gospel? And if you have been to this concert does Bruce do any old numbers. The last time I saw him was in 1988 at Villa Park.

i would say its more folk music than anything else. still very good though.not sure if he will do any of his classic tunes but whatever he does you can guarantee it will be brilliant. enjoy the gig.
Like sheffwed39 says, it's all American folk/country, seeing as it is the (Pete) Seeger Sessions after all! It's mainly fast bluegrass stuff with a few slowies, but the band is amazing! I've not seen him live, but I did see him do a concert in the BBC Philharmonic about a month ago on BBC3, and they were very good! Not a big Springsteen fan, or a bluegrass fan, but this will be a good gig! Enjoy!

Cheers!! I'm sure we will enjoy the concert.
Springsteen is touring this album with a specialist band chosen for the tour. There are strong rumours that he will reconvene with the E-Street Band for a 'greatest hits' tour in 2007 - including a headline slot at Glastonbury.
