Got this old tune in my head. Where does it come from, and who sang it?

According to the Guiness Book of British Hit Singles, Oleta Adams had a minor hit with a song called 'Rhythm Of Life', which originally charted in 1990, and appeared again in '91 and '95.

I suspect the one you're thinking of is the song from the musical Sweet Charity (the source of Big Spender as well). I believe it was sung in the film by Sammy Davis Jnr.
