I am looking for Jazz albums/CD's similar in style to the jazz soundtrack of "Streetcar named desire" by Alex North. I can only describe it as sleazy jazz featuring trumpet quite heavily. Can anyone recommend any jazz from the 50's or 60's which has a similar feel. Thanks

try Miles Davis! He's a genius
I recommend to listen to the early albums such Miles Ahead or the epic song called So What.
