Does anyone know why Blur chose Julian Opie to design the cover for their 2000 album, Best Of? Any answers/links would be much appreciated - thanks!

Not sure, but I love his pictures. I find it very clever how he manages to perfectly capture people with just the most basic, simplest of sketches.

yeah i really like them too - i'm looking at them in my art sketchbook and was just wondering if anybody knew why - thanks for your help anyway!
