Does anyone know any less well-known tracks containing prominent synthesizers? I've really got into them recently. Things similar to Jan Hammer (Crockett's Theme) and Double (Captain of her Heart), with synthesizer beats are the best.

Thanks to anyone who contributes...

try some of Tangerine Dream's albums from the 1980s. Maybe one by Jean-Michelle Jarre (they all sound the same so it doesn't matter which one you pick). Vangelis Papathannassiou made some classics in the late 70s and 80s. German intellectuals Kraftwerk really set the ground rules for synthesiser music, check out Man-Machine. These are just my favourites, there are a lot more to be discovered!

the obvious ones are rockit by herbie hancock, popcorn by the popcorn makers, psyche rock by pierre henry, EVA by jean jacques perry, the message by grandmaster flash and i feel love by donna summer.

more obscure: theres brian eno, suicide and if you like kraftwerk, also try neu!

early stuff (bit weird): try perrey-kingsley, delia derbyshire, bbc radiophonic workshop, karlheinz stockhausen

Human league were the first british synthesizer band. I had an assignment on them when i was at school in 1983 and loved them ever since oh and ultravox and depeche mode!
