Can anyone suggest a suitable microphone for recording a nylon strung acoustic guitar onto my pc's hard drive (cheap as possible as i'm a poor music student!)-Thanks in advance

as a gigging musician i can tell you you can't beat the shure SM58 for all purpose recording's but this may be too dear for your at around the �80 mark. If you can pisk up a sturdy UNI-directional mike by audio-technica or the shure prologue series this should do the job for you.
