I dont know how anyone can compare starsailor to coldplay they sound totally different. I love Starsailor wiith a pppppassion. They r too cool for xmas. I would recommend a new band called morning runner they are a cross between coldplay and razorlight.

if by like coldplay you mean acoustic based,then i would say "athlete" and "i am kloot" are far better,i know its down to taste but chris martins voice gets right under my skin,also check out "superstar",a criminally underestimated band
