Misunderstood Song Lyrics

Does anyone else think the chorus of Lady Gaga’s song…Poker Face says “JeremyVine ,Jeremy Vine..can’t read or write”…or is it my weird take on the song..anybody else have other songs with lyric variations?

I don’t know that song, but there are some famous misheard lyrics, including “Sue Lawley, Sue Lawley..” in the Police’s So Lonely.
And Madonna’s “young girl with eyes like potatoes”

Oddly, I always thought it sounded like ‘Cutie pie, cutie pie’ until I saw the video.

Not a song lyric but my sister told me recently that when we watched Star Trek as kids, when Captain Kirk said “to boldly go” she heard “to Bowgley-Go”, as if it was a destination somewhere in the universe! Lol.

A friend, back in the days of acid house music, used to sing “Taxiiieee” instead of the correct “Aceeeed!”

I was just watching the official Lady Gaga Poker Face video and it seemed different from what I mynt on it so I watched one that happened to show the lyrics.

I was shocked at what she actually sings so went back to the official video that's been watched a billion times and put on the captions and they showed the same lyrics.

Did you know that after she sings "P-p-p poker face" she doesn't repeat it, she sings something completely different?

I checked another website and that confirmed it.

JNO, I know that but I have only just seen what she actually sings.

Looking on Google she revealed last year that only one radio station twigged it and censored what she sings after "P-p-p poker face"
