My Owners Group horse Huelgoat won his first Novice Chase at Newton Abbot on Monday - great run and a lovely feeling seeing him cross the line in such an effortless fashion. Such a cheap way to become involved in racehorse ownership and the monthly magazine alone is worth the annual payment.

Its taken a bit of time to get some condition on him, but Paul Nicholls has been very patient with him. He doesn't strike you as a chasing type, but looks are obviously deceiving!

Must admit, Lanky, i hadn't even noticed your Gg was running. Novice chases are not my cup of tea as regards having a punt, especially those with just a handful of runners. Onwards and upwards:-)
