I liked her first album when it came out (especially Flea/ Dave Navarro on one track). However, I saw her do a live concert on TV around the same time and was struck by how "one-paced" it all was which has put me off to this day. Sorry.

I like her stuff though it is a bit 'I'm hard done by by every bloke I meet'. She is ugly though.

Her first album is a classic and may have overshadowed the quality of her later work, but I think she's the type of artist who will be around for years, drifting in and out of mass popularity, a bit like Aimee Mann.
I disagree with OBonio about her being ugly, but maybe it's a girl on girl thing!
