Who sang 'waiting for you' (not necc. the title) with classical strings loop?

I think it was last summer that I heard this song on Radio 1. Female vocalist, main cord went 'and I'm waiting for you again, yes I'm waiting for youooo' and it was interspersed with a strong strings classical loop....that I don't know either. Oh, I think the band was Aussie. Loved the song, but can't track it down. Any clues?

Maybe you are talking about "Milk" by Garbage (on the album also called Garbage) I am sure it contains the lyrics you mention but not so sure about the classical loop tough.
