I can remember John Peel banging on about how great the Fall were - never really saw it myself. Then I heard a single maybe 2 years ago with a very catchy song - it was quite rockabilly-esque with a vocal chorus line something like 'yamanee'. If I were to risk getting beaten up by the Fall fans, I'd say it sounded like 'Something Else' by Eddie Cochran

Ive seen the Fall and wasn't very impressed however their cover of "theres a ghost in my house" and hit the north are fantastic singles.
Sounds like 'F-oldin' Money' from The Marshall Suite Album. Very good album from '99. Also well worth the trouble is This Nation's Saving Grace from 1985 and The Unutterable from 2000. Along with Asides 458489 a collection of singles. Great band on record but live very hit and miss.
