does anybody know of a song by CCS called A Tap Turn Of The Water,and if so where can i get it?

It got to No5 in Sept 71 on the RAK record label (catalogue number rak119) which is now defunct. CCS are also known for their cover of Led Zeppelin's Whole lotta love which was used by Top of the pops as a theme tune for a while. Try a compilation 70's album to pick it up

Believe it or not I'm sure I was listening to it the other day. It was on a compilation of 1971 hits. The ones that they sell in card shops and similar with songs from a specific year. Maybe even M&S. I will check and add more later. I think the title was "Tap Turns On The Water"

The band CCS (Collective Conciousness Society) was the brain-child of Alexis Korner, the 'father' of British blues music, who once gave a gig to a bunch of spotty 'erberts called Little Boy Blue And The Blue Boys. It was when they changed their name to the Rollin' Stones that things really started happening - just a bit of trivia for you pub quiz buffs out there!
