today I heard a song I think was called durham lad durham boy with mark knopfler and someone else can anyone tell me the title and who else was on the record

It sounds like it could be Sailing to Philadelphia. The first words are 'I'm Jeremiah Dixon, I am a Geordie boy'. The other singer is James Taylor. As far as I know it's very recent - probably on Knopfler's latest album.

its called "sailing to Philadelphia " and is the title track to Mark Knopflers album of the same name, and featurs the vocals of James Taylor. the whole album is v good .
