The Mod movement of the 60s was credited with bringing into the UK, through the clubs and "discos" the R&B sounds and modern bands and artists such as Who and Chris Farlow. There was however a less known appreciation of what is now called Ska, which went on to become Rock Steady, Reggae, 2 Tone and even the dance movement Hip Hop. Takes me back to the "Torch" in the mid 60s.
Sick isn't it AV. Back then the guys who wrote it thought nothing of it and now we have the prissy, know all, do nothings deciding what is "good for us". Meehh.
