The nearest I can think of is that Martin Fry used a sample of Gary Numan's Cars (which i think was a number one single) on an album track.
Maybe there was number one single that sampled his vocal from an ABC track but I can't think of one

I think it might be 'Poison Arrow'

It only reached number 5 in the UK though, Lynn. None of their singles made the top 3 in the UK. Now if the questioner is looking at other countries then Look of Love reached number 1 in Canada. But I am pretty sure it's a question with a twist- this Quiz doesn't tend to have straightforward ones that you can answer from Wikipedia

The word 'feature' makes me think he was sampled, or someone name checked him or he guested (maybe on a charity record)
