What is the song at the moment that you just cannot get enough of? It does not have to be a recent song, just one that at the moment makes you smile and gives you nice butterflies whenever you listen to it?

Mine is 'Rose' by Stephen Fretwell.

Kaiser Chiefs "I Predict A Riot"

There are 5 songs on a home made CD of mine that never fails.

David Bowie   Absolute Beginners

The Beach Boys   Add Some Music To Your Day

Leonard Cohen    I'm Your Man

The Smiths   Reel Around The Fountain

Suede   Saturday Night

After answering a previous music question I might have to revert back to Hallelujah Jeff Buckley version!

Although also liking all of Fretwells songs at the moment. Magpie is prob the album I currently cannot get enough of.

Motorcycle Emptiness by the Manic Street Preachers. Fabulous song, awful lyrics. In one of those unbelievable coincidences, the song playing on itunes in the background when I opened this page was Leonard Cohen  - I'm Your Man, as mentioned by Ward-Minter.

I had "I wish I didn't miss you" by Angie Stone in my head all of last week, so I bought it at the weekend.

QUALITY TRACK!

across 110th street by bobby womack

recently rediscovered it and i can't listen to it without repeating it about 5 times!

Bullets - Editors

or

Southern Cross -Nine Black Alps

I can't stop flicking between them on my car stereo

shame and scandal by madness cheers me up
I know you asked for songs but there are two really good albums out there just now packed with songs i cant get enough of - Kelly Clarkson and James Blunt. All of the songs on James' album are lovely to drive or chill out to. Anything by Bryan Adams gets me singing along quite loudly too!
Love In A Trashcan-The Raveonettes
Carrion by British Sea Power
Bottle Rocket by The Go! Team
14th Street by Rufus Wainwright
The Laws Have Changed by The New Pornographers
Born On A Train by Magnetic Fields
Joe's Kiss by Amsterdam
Ooh yes I love Bullets by Editors, I saw them support Embrace..I've heard they are re releasing it!

I'm currently loving the entire Maximo Park album (brill live) and The Go! Team's Everyone's a VIP to someone makes me feel good!

I'm with you Steve - the Raveonettes always put a smile on my face x

At the moment I can't stop playing First of the Gang to Die by Morrissey. Don't know why, not a Morrissey fan.

Also, Take the Long Way Home by Supertramp.

Regarding previous entries, I can't believe there's another two Leonard Cohen fans out there. Thought we were extinct. Listening to Waiting for the Miracle quite a lot just now..

tracymort - you've just become the coolest person in the world. All of those songs (especially Maximo Park) have rarely been off my hi-fi for a long time now. The Go! Team is the perfect CD to put on in the car, and everyone I've played it to has gone out and bought it straight away.
The song that i cant get enough off at the moment is the Pussycat Dolls feat. Buster Rhymes - "Dont Cha" Its got such a dirty beat that i love. It will be a huge toon i think.
Thank you Supernick!
Dresden Dolls:
Coin Operated Boy.
Girl Anachronism.

Nick Cave: Nature Boy.
I can't get enough of these songs!
Close To Me by The Cure, is another one that I never get tired of listening to!
First We Take Manhattan   Leonard Cohen              Subway    Peter Murphy                                     Red Right Hand    Nick Cave+Bad Seeds   ...great danceable tunes by guys not associated with dance music...lol dedntdie
