Does anyone remember a song "I'm looking for the ogopogo, the funny little ogopogo, His mother was a ? and his father was a snail, and if I find him I'll put some salt on his tail" This was probably sung in the 1930s to amuse children I think
I used to sing this song with my infant son - 36 years ago! I remember it as: 'I'm looking for the Ogopogo, Funny little Ogopogo, His mother was an earwig, his Father was a whale, I'm going to put a little bit of salt on his tail, I'm looking for the Ogopogo.'
I have no idea where the original came from but we had wonderful times in the garden trying to identify an Ogopogo. In the end we settled for a millipede!
