What would you do with a whole day off ?

I've got today off too.

Inbetween here so far, ive cleaned the bathroom, sorted Mini Boo's toy box out (3 binbags of broken toys in the bin) an put washing out, though why ive done the latter i don't know, its been raining on and off all morning, and wiped down with disinfectant the landing and stairs- they're wooden.

So far, ive a stew to start prepping, last nights mountain of washing up to be done, hoovering upstairs and downstairs, and mopping kitchen floor to do.

Well exciting my days off are :-(

Plans are to do lots of nothing, listen to music, read and relax.

I have every day off. :) Yesterday I baked chocolate chip cookies and date and walnut loaf.

all my days are off. I don't do that much. But I went for a rfiver cruise one of thiose sunny days last week, and went to see the Uffington White Horse on another.

What's a day off, they usually mean just changing our normal running about for a boss, to running about for the family?

Repeat every Saturday.

Get up about 8am. Sitting in the conservatorygarden with the iPad drinking copious amounts of tea until I get hungry. Make breakfast. Veg a bit more. Do bits of housework. Go shopping. Return to spot in cons/garden, read more drink more tea. Repeat until bed time.

I was off last week, (days off between shifts), but off this week as well (doctors orders, bad back)

If I had a day off on my own, then I'd probably catch up with the housework or something equally dull.

If OH had a day off too, it would be a case of sod the housework, and let's have a lie in.

I've been shopping, done the bedrooms, bathroom/s, kitchen and living room. Still need to hoover and mop and clean the rabbits out.

So far, hoovered, ironed 14 work shirts for my return on the 24th, made the bed and tidied the bedroom, finished the Sunday papers and listened to three new CDs, Ian Hunter and the Rant Band, Alberta Cross and The Pineapple Thief. Time for lunch and then a good book.

Good job Taffy terrier cant spell & followed instructions for 'leak' instead of leek leaving me with a party pool & jacuzzi in my greenhouse.
