Can any thirtysomething ( or older ) please help me with two songs.......One was called " Whats the matter with Helen? I would like to know who sung this, I remember Mike Read playing it a lot on radio 1 a lot in the early eighties......Another song is called " Blind Date" another early eighties song,I think may have been sung by a band called "Ginger "...Can anyone help?

Reference is made to 'Blind Date' by Ginger being featured on a 1981 TV show Multi-Coloured Music Shop (a spinoff of MC Swap Shap).
