You have a gorgeous voice IMO.
This voice/guitar version I could see as a closing encore to a gig.
Have you worked with a band at all ? If not, I think you should get out there and present yourself as a lead vocalist.

answerprancer, i certainly wasent exspexting a comment like that lol! thankyou! no im shy i hate going out and being among ppl lol! but the internet is my wee place tp share, maybe one day il get oot there lol x
If you want to be serious about your singing do it now - if you don't you will get to my age (48) and regret playing it safe.

You have a pure voice and you don't need to hide behind music and all the gadgets that are used to make people sound better. Good luck.
"im shy i hate going out and being among ppl" ...so was Liz Frazer (from Cocteau Twins) apparently. That didn't stop her from becoming one of Scotland's finest 'alternative' lead vocalists.
That said, there's no reason why you couldn't flourish online, including getting someone to 'produce' what you do - maybe adding keyboards, more guitar/drums etc.
In my experience you don't have to be 'the big I am' to get out and perform.
If you have a good voice (and you do IMO) you just need to make it known. Being a bit shy need not hold you back - bring a friend along to speak up for you if necessary, let them do the talking and then you can concentrate on the singing.
BE shy if it's in your nature, but just get out there. I work in the field of music and I know from bitter experience that hiding your light under a bushel in your bedroom is not going to futher your career.
ps. don't watch "BGT" - it's demeaning and discouraging !
answerprancer..Laura has posted quite a few times with songs she has covered, and each time ABers have said she has a lovely voice, and should
promote herself more, but she seems happy posting here and Youtube.

Get out there girl...and finish the ones you were writing yourself.xxxx
Laura, get your self out there, go for it girl.
Wow, Laura, that's fantastic. Thanks for posting the link.

Disclaimer... I know nothing about this site or if it's legit or not.

And this is your best rendition yet IMO, you do have a good voice and you're pretty fit, so keep at it :)

thanks got it lol! same username as here lol! il work on it soon lol! x
Laura, I'd love to see you at an open mic night somewhere, your voice is lovely and you can play guitar and make it sound great too.
You need to get yourself known locally first though, some easier songs to sing on the local karaoke circuit is a good start, I've been there myself, it's a start to build your confidence and also get the buzz that entertaining is all about.
Trust me, you will love it !
