Should I know this tune? Northern Soul sample?

I heard this yesterday and although I didn't like most of the song I have since found myself repeatedly singing the 'Look around the corner' hook line which sounded like something from a 1960s Northern Soul track. Does anyone know if that bit is taken from an old song?

Just listend to it and ''The look around the corner '' hook has got a Northern Soul ring to it, but also a Motown ring to it.

Thanks- it looks like a completely new song then. It's a shame the rest of the song is a bit of a hotch potch
