Following on from the 'Oh Gawd' thread which mentioned Jethro Tull, there are bands that simnply don;t resonate, you ever understand why people like them, and you really can't understand their appeal, and you certainly would never buy one of their albums. Here is my list, off the top of my head -

1. Jethro Tull
2. Blur
3. Rush
4. Frank Sinatra
5. Neil Diamond
6. Florence And The Machine
7. Radiohead
8. Paul Weller
9. Elbow
10. The Smiths

U2. Bloody awful.
I'm really pretty ambivalent about music, I do like to listen to 4/6 of 237SJ's list though.

Pretty much all rap leaves me cold.
Yep, could never understand all the fuss about U2 either.
oh god Coldplay - why would anyone spend good money on their *rap music ???
Coldplay, James blunt and all other self pitying whiners.
The Smiths. Just don't get them.

How can anyone not like Florence And The Machine ??
50 cents and the rest of crap rap crews.

Are my most disliked that I can think of right now. I do tend to hate a lot of 'popular music' that is around now. Give me Pink Floyd, Led Zepp, Springsteen any day. I must admit I hated the Smiths the entire time I worked in a record shop (years) but since leaving and really listening, some of it has grown on me. Again with Elbow - not a fan generally but The Seldom Seen Kid is one of my favourite modern albums.
Jamiroquai or the little weasel who's in it Jay Kay.
Oh yea, just remembered, Captain Beefheart and Frank Zappa.
Yeah I just get Beefheart - people I know rave about him but I just can't get into it
Thats cus he was/is crap, Greedyfly.
