^^ Everybody wants something for nothing. Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!
You didn't know you could pay for it?
Itunes - not free but cheap and has a good amount of stuff to choose from. Just don't expect anything that isn't popular!

There are HUNDREDS of sites to download free music without viruses but it is illegal and not advisable!
Why is it that folk who would never dream of stealing say a vase from a pottery shop think nothing of stealing music by downloading it for free in both cases it is the result of someones labour and they have the right to be paid for it.... thats why there are those little things called royalties...
amazon is cheap and easy....and you get offers/free downloads with some purchases....x

Indeed
I pay $9.99 per month to easynews.com. Got told it was good by dj friends of mine who use it. There are limits to how much you can download, but I have never been close to that and I got all I needed
Plenty of stuff on iTunes that's outwith the mainstream: http://itunes.apple.c...m/khnosti/id287388890
its the principle someone used their creativity and effort to produce something but because one is copyable it seems to be ok for people to sort of help themselves,,,
I don't particularly like using Itunes - I usually use it at a last resort

thanks possitive answers an to those having a rant..ive never downloaded music friends have always done it..as for wanting things for free mark gimmie gimmie gimmie im sure if someone offered you something for free you wouldnt say NO!!
Even companies like HMV offer a download service, Amazon also
If someone offered me something for free but which was stolen, I most certainly wouldn't take it. To do so would make me just as much a thief as the person offering me the stolen goods. Perhaps you are different in some way...?
In the not to distant future, I see many an Extradition Warrant winging their way from the US to here to pick up persistent downloaders of material which has a copyright. The UK gov won't do anything to stop it either.
And quite rightly so!
