I ahve recently bought Juliet Turner's CD "Burn the Black Suit"  I am at a loss to understand the meaning of this, what is it about the black suit?

I think she is refering to everyones safe/standard outfit - the black suit. "Burning the black suit" means no longer taking the safe option, no longer conforming, no longer trying to behave the way you feel people would expect.Being true to your feeling
