One very famous one that has been left out, is the one that belonged to that well known radio personality Jimmy Edwards, who was the first Vice-President of the 'Handlebar Club'.

"Jimmy Edwards own moustache has had an interesting history; it is the fourth of its line. The first was posted "missing" after an R.A.F. mess party. The second was removed for security reasons just before D-Day (F/Lt. Edwards, Pilot of a Transport Command aircraft, was deemed to look too English with such an appendage). The third was burnt off when its owner's Dakota was shot down on the way back from Arnhem. A D.F.C. was hardly adequate compensation."

Here is a song dedicated to all you ladies.

I done a quiz for children in need with part of it photos of famous moustaches, although I don't think anyone would have known Jimmy Edwards, that is a beauty!
I think the most famous in popular culture would be a toss up between Tom Seleck and Merv Hughes.
I'm looking forward to hiding mine back behind the stubble from Thursday but it has been great to see the support Movember has had this year!
They didn't look too far did they ?
