If you shut your eyes, apart from the pronunciation of a couple of the words, you really would think Karen Carpenter was singing this.

Spooky ... not the fact that she sounds like Karen Carpenter, which she does - but the fact that the audience didn't launch into whoops and cheers the moment she opened her mouth, punctuating every high note or pause, with more of the same.
