Converting MP3 for normal hifi

I've downloaded some songs as MP3's.  How do i convert them so i can listen to them on my usual hifi system which is quite old and doesnt read MP3s.

Assuming you've got a CD burner on your PC you need to create CD's from your mp3's using software such as Roxio, Nero and I think Windows XP has something now that will do the basics.

Yeah, you need a CD burner, then any new application in the Media Player, iTunes arena will convert these no problem.

i have windows Xp and a CD burner.  I don't think you can convert MP3s using Nero. and iTunes is for apple macs i think. sorry i'm abit thick where pc's are concerned and technology!!! help

I've used Nero 6 and it easily converts mp3 files.

Simply choose to burn Music / Audio disc, then select the mp3s you want. Nero converts them into audio format when performing the burn. Easy! No need to use a seperate file converter.

If you have windows XP, the Media Player version it comes with works just fine when you choose burn to disc or copy to disc. At least it has worked for me. I have what I consider an ancient HiFi system (probably 15yrs old or more). Good Luck!
