blimey, yep, the man with the tum almost to the floor!
it looked sooo heavy...
I am feeling a combination of horror and pity, watching this. I feel so bad for these people-to have gotten the way they are.
SILaw had hers cut away & 5y later it was back with a like two tyre rolls.
they are either very brave or very desperate to bear something so personal to millions of tv viewers
omg - excess skin is worse.....where's that cake
Question Author
i agree cazzz,
but, i suppose they get to get the help they need dont they, like this lady on now having her skin removed, which she probably couldnt have afforded herself..?
(she looked lovely when she was big, and like she said earlier, she was far less embarrassed about her body back then, as she is now, now she's lost it all)
I know I should feel sympathetic and I do but the guy with the huge crusty tummy down to his knees - jawdroppingly horrendous
Question Author
the blonde girl on there, the one that was on at the very beginning, im sure ive seen her before on something else,
maybe shes been on supersized superskinny, or something..?
Have you seen the poor guy with the excess skin? Bless.
Question Author
yes, just saw the op! it weighed 6 stone!
Question Author
wow, the lady whos lost 14 stone has had some surgery, and shes looking great!
I watched it tonight and felt really sorry for the lady who lost the weight, and was left with that loose skin, but did'nt the surgeons do a great job, apart from her boobs, I thought they looked a bit strange, unless she still had post op swelling.
Question Author
i know den,
she put all that effort into losing all that weight, thinking she'd have a better quality of life, to only have a different lot of problems to contend with, tut, the poor thing.
so heres hoping, theyll put her right and she'll be able to live a normal life now, doing all things she's not been able to do for so long.
yes, i too noticed her boobies looked a little odd, but like you say, it was hopefully just post op swelling.
however, on the whole, she looked great :o)
I must admit, loooby, when she took her clothes off, I was quite shocked, was not expecting to see that amount of sagging skin. I really didn't think they could do much for her, but what a result.

The underarm skin removal was really impressive, though the scarring was not very nice for her.

That poor bloke with the massive hanging tummy - to be fair, his was not from overeating, but steriods caused him to put on weight after an asthma attack, but what a result for him. The skill of those surgeons is truly amazing.
Question Author
yes, i agree, truly amazing den,
and i really hope it will bring happiness to them, and that they can live a more 'normal' life now, catching up on all that theyve missed out on for so long.

(i know i can get it in channel 4 catchup, but do you know if its repeated on tv again? ive been trying to look through the programme schedule, but cant seem to see it)
I think sometimes on E4 around Friday, I have seen these programmes repeated. Like the Embarrassing Illness was anyway, so perhaps this one will be.
