When they release Damien Rice singles, why do they insist on putting crappy poppy music against the tracks???

I'm no fan of Rice, but I've heard some album tracks.  He released Cannonball about 5 times (or that's how it felt with all the airplay) with different backing track, even though it's acoustic on the album.

That annoys me - if the album version won't sell singles, it shouldn't be released as a single.  People who then buy the album are being misled and conned.

by remixing it they firstly, make loyal fans purchase it (being a different version)  and they try to make it radio friendly. Its really annoying if you buy the album and prefer the single version...

there really should be a consumer law against it , you are being misled...
