There was a song i had on tape (yes that long ago) from the early 90's it wasn't a hit it was just on the Mark Goodier Evening session one night and had the lyrics "in a smoke filled room with your sweat (or sweet but sounded like sweat) perfume,i must leave here soon.......it hurts again and again and again"

Any ideas? I did say it was long shot !!!

Was it a male singer, female, group? What sort of music, soul, rock, middle of the road etc?

It was a group with a male singer. Guitar band but quite mellow. I have tried googling the lyrics to no effect.
dont know why but i have Journey's Dont Stop Believing in my head

i am. got engrossed in a good book and now just having a cuppa before bed.
ps. apparently "Deryn starts his final intensification block before long term maintenance" tomorrow. I dont know any of the terms though so dont really understand it.
does it sound like a course of chemo, before a maintenance dose, only a guess red. but will sent extra positive thoughts to morrow
