Anyone know where i can buy genuine "fatbox" cd cases as used with the earlier Now thats what i call music cds, have tried amazon and ebay and google search with no luck

I do not know the ones you are looking for but these things are usually called jewelcases.

Nope these are not them guys...see images for early now thats what i call music cases...only hold the 2 cds but i think ive found a solution by changing only the front and rear cover with standard covers...they seem to fit the inner "fatbox" section, thanks anyways.
