Seaside Special on tv in the 70's

Who sang the song with the lyrics "Get a little sand between your toes?" It was a 70's song and im sure it was played alot on the Seaside Special show on TV. I was told it was "Summertime City" by Mike Batt but I have listened to it and it aint the one.
