Hi Nick,
Don't be nervous- you will be brilliant. And you never know who is going to be in the audience! Keep gigging. x x x
And just another little thing to ad here if nick is nervous then that is so good as a little bit of nerves gets the adrenalin pumping so much and he will superseed himself so much tonight (trust me I know).
Well done with your exam marks Nick & good luck with your musical working life! -xx-
I bet you are proud. I have one son that wants to be an astronaut (hes 6 lol) and the other one is 2 and he is destined to be a drummer. He has a little kiddy drum kit and shocked the hell out of me by drumming along to this.......

Nice one Knob COOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLL ! x
Put a post on here tommorow rock to let us all know how brill nick was tonight as we all know that he will be mind blowing.
I may be biased but there is no other band like Muse. I dont think you can listen to one of their records and say that sounds like KEANE FFS? They are deeply classically influenced and its very obvious. Even Matts voice is like an instrument.
Hey there goodsoules I open my mind up to all sorts of music and can see all simalareties (spelling again) to other groups in all groups. I think that music today is so much influensed by what we have had in the past 20 years or so.

Going back to the white stripes they must have been influnced (one day I will learn how to spell that) by led zep and also a load of other groups as I can hear so many other groups in there songs. Dont get me wrong though as they are brill
Another good example is the sisser sisters now you tell me that they have not been influenced by elton john

Oh s@it what happened there
Hi rockolo

I write for 'Drummer' magazine, and I can assure your son that the biggest drummers in the world get nervous from time to time - it's good for you! A little adrenaline helps the gig along, but beware of starting off too fast!

Hope the gig was a good 'un!
Go Nick !! You can do it. Your mum has faith in you and so do we !! Give it your all !!

Hi to you all and Nick and I wishes to thank you all for your kind words of praise , encouragement and interest.
The gig was so great not many people there but a fantastic atmosphere.
Had to pop out the leather trousers of course and the black eye liner. It was fun.
I am just a pround Mum and was thrilled to hear the son drum kit at its best as it is a new one {very expensive} but do not use much cos it is too noisy and would alarm the neighbours.
Just heard by Nick that he passed his course and had distinction on all results and may get a couple of rewards as well.
So thank you xxxxxxxxxxxxx
you are all fantasticx
