Hi Whiffey ................................... cliff

cliff ::~~(*_*)::~~
1/ Cant stand Kylie (lets get my arse/tits out to sell a record) when she can write her own tunes, accompany herself on an instrument of her choice and sing in tune without any digital touching up then i may change my mine but its unlikely !

2/ Lisa Scott Lee - it didnt get in the top 10 so get a real job and leave the public alone

3/ David Gray cos of his stupid wobbly head

Rant over..........
Actually if you are in New York it IS 'Noo', whiff..

Belinda Carlisle sounds like she is gargling TCP.
oh Pippa, i agree there! Cant bear her.

Liam Gallagher, no expalanation needed.

im going to offend now but i cant stand Axel Roses voice, i have to switch off!

Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, it's called singing ladies, not vocal exercises to see how many notes you can get in a minute.
Phil Collins actually, i cannot abide him.
this was in b&S when i posted the above so we have an active moderator on on a saturday nite, good stuff!

Excellent, nobody mentioned Enya !!
I so agree that Liam Gallagher and Axel Rose are probably the most irritating "singers" and I will usually switch over if either of them are on. I also don't like Enrique Iglesias.
I can't stand any female singer who puts on a babyish/little girl voice. That drives me mad!!
Oh and Katie Melua and James Blunt - I turn off the radio if either of these come on.
Robbie Willaims utterly talentless, If you see him live he gets the audience to sing and makes gooning faces!
Whiffey, You call Elvis a Wan*er. Your the Wan*er you obnoxious c*nt. Why do you feel you have to come on this site and insult other peoples heroes? And before anyone starts calling me a 'Elvis Nut Case' or comes out with the **** about everybody having the right to express their opinion, just remember that slagging of somebody's colour, or sexual orientation is considered by most to be offensive. I have no problem with people saying they dont like Elvis or anything else I like, but calling them names is more than an opinion, it is insulting and provokes trouble.
Spot on Magicbeatle!, Its all a matter of taste & age group,
Elvis died 30 years ago but everybody's heard of him & knows who he was! how many of todays so-called stars will be remembered in 30 months let alone 30 yrs?
Personally i think music today is a load of tripe but someone must like it so let them listen to it & let those of us who prefer a different generation of music listen to what we like without obnoxious little farts slagging it off.
Now go away & listen to your (C)rap music, ******!
H'mmm..... so, magicbeatle, "calling them names is more than an opinion, it is insulting and provokes trouble", but it's OK for you to call Whiffey "you obnoxious c*nt. "? Something seems not to add up there.........

Incidentally, just to stay on-topic - I have no opinion about Elvis - he doesn't bother me, but I wouldn't go out of my way to listen to him. But then that goes for an awful lot of singers.........

Well, that was some good vibrant debate. Actually my favourites are The Shadows and Cliff Richard - hardly rap.
Narolines, Got no argument with you there. Even if you had said you didnt like Elvis. Fair enough! You wasnt rude about it. That's your opinion. But I wasnt being hypocritical by calling Whiffey names. I'm on the defensive. If someone punched you in the face and you hit them back, it wouldnt make you hypocritical just because you had always said that you didnt believe in violence. It would make you human.
And Whiffey, without Elvis, Cliff Richard wouldnt even have made it anyway. So show him at least a bit of respect. Cliff himself likes Elvis. In fact, music in general would not be the same today without him. For without him, The Beatles most probably wouldnt have happened (Said John Lennon himself) but that's another argument.
Cliff and his religous crap but most of all his Crimbo crap
