according to imdb.com mr cruise didn't get an up front fee but instead got 20 per cent of "the profits". this could mean anything, but, lets say its gross profit. The movie has taken $530 million so far and cost $130 million to make. 20 per cent of $400 million is $80 million so far. That sounds about right given that he got $75 million for Mission Impossible 2.
