ive never understood the term "return within 1 hr prohbited" for parking restrictions on roads- why are they forcing you to stay a full 1hr - has anyone here ever been fined for breaching this?

Is this a serious question?
Tali - this means only that you may park for whatever time the signs say, but when you move off you may not re-occupy that same space within the next immediate hour.
Find a new space or go to Tesco for an hour.
Buy one of these............

Basically tali, they are saying that you can park for an hour if you are nipping to the shops for a few things. The one hour restriction stops people who work work in town parking there all day so that they jam the town up for people who do want to nip to the shops.
